‘The Greenside’ officially opens at Fairway Carindale
Celebrating our beautiful new community centre
‘The Greenside’ is now officially open at Fairway Carindale, offering residents more than 2,000sqm of premium wellness, leisure and lifestyle facilities.
Around 150 guests gathered on October 21 to celebrate the milestone, including current residents, new residents preparing to move in, project partners, staff and local Councillor Ryan Murphy.
The opening marks another exciting chapter at Fairway Carindale, with Greenside designed to become the social heart of the community – a place residents can connect, stay active and enjoy time with family and friends.

Overlooking the picturesque Pacific Golf Course, the new centre features a residents’ bar and café, beauty salon, gym, Pilates studio, heated indoor swimming pool, outdoor barbecue and dining areas, and inviting spaces to relax and socialise.
Reside Communities CEO Glen Brown said the opening of Greenside marked a significant milestone for Fairway Carindale and reflected the vision to create a community where residents could enjoy an active, connected lifestyle.
“Greenside is much more than a collection of beautiful facilities. It’s a place where residents can come together, build friendships, stay active and enjoy everything that makes living at Fairway Carindale so special,” he said.
“We wanted to create somewhere residents would genuinely love spending time, whether that’s enjoying a morning swim, catching up with neighbours over coffee or entertaining family and friends while taking in the beautiful golf course views.
“Seeing residents enjoying these spaces for the first time is incredibly rewarding, and I’m proud of everyone who has worked so hard to bring Greenside to life.”
The opening celebrations also included an address from Councillor Murphy, who acknowledged Reside Communities’ ongoing commitment to the Pacific Golf Course and the wider Carindale community.

He highlighted the importance of the partnership in helping preserve valuable green space in Carindale, while creating opportunities for local retirees to downsize without leaving the neighbourhood they know and love.
Councillor Murphy also recognised the flow-on benefits for younger families, with downsizing helping to make established homes available to the next generation of buyers.
Following the speeches, Fairway Carindale Village Manager Bronwyn O’Brien officially cut the ribbon, marking the opening of the new facilities.
Guests then enjoyed a barbecue hosted by the Fairway team, making the most of the beautiful outdoor entertaining areas and sweeping views across the golf course.

More than simply a community centre, Greenside has been designed to enhance everyday living, with single-level access and seamless connections throughout the facilities.
The opening comes alongside the completion of three new apartment buildings at Fairway Carindale, welcoming more residents to a community that combines low-maintenance living with an active and connected lifestyle.
