A sneak peek inside our new villas as construction powers ahead
Plenty happening on site as work progresses
It’s been another busy and productive month at Fairway Carindale, with excellent progress across all stages of the development.
Our construction teams have been hard at work preparing the site for the next phase, with plenty of activity both above and below ground.
At Tower 3, a major milestone was reached last week with the pouring of the Level 1 slab, forming the base for the next level and marking visible vertical progress on site. In addition, work has now commenced on the Level 1 columns, creating the vertical structure that will support the upper floors.
Inside the villas, plasterboard sheeting is being installed, shaping the walls and ceilings and giving a real sense of how these homes will look and feel. Framing has also started in the shared areas, setting out key communal spaces such as corridors, lounges, and amenities.
Meanwhile, electricians and plumbers are busy above the ceilings with high-level services rough-in, installing wiring, pipework, and air-conditioning ducts to support the building’s future comfort and functionality.
Over at Tower 4, internal wall sheeting has been completed in the B2 villas, clearly defining the layout and flow of each home. Teams will now move through to sand and smooth the walls in preparation for painting and final finishes. The Level 0 slab is scheduled to be poured next week, providing a solid foundation for the next stage of the build. Temporary formwork structures for the B2 level have also been removed, allowing construction teams to advance with internal fit-out and finishing works.
At Tower 5, preparations are underway to complete the Level 0 slab in two stages due to the size of the structure. The formwork decking for the first section is finished, and reinforcing steel is being installed before post-tensioning – a process that strengthens the concrete and ensures long-term durability.
Preparation for the second section is close to completion, with the first pour anticipated in early November and the second to follow mid-month. Once these pours are complete, the full base structure for Tower 5 will be in place, paving the way for the next stages to rise.
