Construction progressing well as our community grows
Standards are high to ensure a quality finish
We’re pleased to share an update on the upcoming and ongoing construction works across the Fairway Carindale site, with steady progress continuing as the community moves forward.
In Tower 3, works are progressing well with a strong focus on quality and finishing standards. Defecting is currently underway for the B2 apartments, including Apartment 300, which is being used as a prototype. This process allows the construction team to identify and address minor finishes early, helping to refine standards and ensure a consistent, high-quality finish across all apartments.
In addition, all common area services, including electrical, plumbing and fire systems, have now been completed, marking an important milestone in finalising shared spaces. Set-out works are currently underway on Level 0, while Level 1 set-out and window installation have been completed, allowing internal works to continue efficiently.
Concrete works on Level 2 have been successfully completed, with formwork removed, and blockwork is now progressing on Level 3, forming internal and external walls. Rendering works are continuing up the tower, including balcony areas, and roof installation is anticipated to commence in mid-February, which will further enclose the building and support internal fit-out activities.
Tower 4 is also making strong progress, with both structural and internal works advancing. The B2 apartments are currently undergoing tiling and painting, bringing these homes closer to completion. Framing and rough-in works for plumbing and electrical services have been completed, with wall sheeting scheduled to commence shortly to allow further internal finishes to proceed.
Meanwhile, plumbing works are underway on Level 1, while the Level 2 slab was successfully poured last week. Preparations are now in place for the Level 3 slab pour, targeted for mid-February, with scaffolding advanced and the lift core recently completed. Construction of the Level 3 columns is scheduled to commence this week, continuing the upward progression of the tower.
In Tower 5, early-stage structural works are progressing steadily and remain on schedule. Basement Level 1 drainage has been installed, with the exception of the ramp area, and formwork has now been stripped, indicating completion of this stage. The Level 0 lift core has been poured, establishing the vertical structure for lift access, while Level 1 formwork has been completed and reinforcing steel works are commencing in preparation for the next concrete pour. The Level 1 slab pour is currently targeted for mid-February, subject to weather and site conditions.
