Construction continues to advance across Fairway
Strong progress inside and out
Construction at Fairway Carindale has ramped up across Towers 3, 4 and 5, with works moving through a combination of internal fit-out, defect rectification and external works as the development advances toward completion.
In Tower 3, defect rectification is progressing across the lower levels, with inspections completed on Level 1 and cleaning and inspections underway on Level 2. Level 3 is now in its final finishing stages, with painting and carpet installation scheduled for completion this week. Glazing installation has also commenced in the boardroom, while removal works associated with Stage 1 are allowing external tiling works to progress.
Further progress is being made around the Tower 3 pool area, where roofing is now complete and battens are being installed beneath the roof. Waterproofing and water testing of the external planters are also continuing ahead of final landscaping and finishing works.
Tower 4 is also progressing through defect rectification and internal fit-out, with works underway across Basement Levels 0, 1 and 2. Final services installation is progressing on Level 1, while timber flooring has been completed on Level 2 and joinery installation on Level 3 is now approximately 70 per cent complete. External scaffolding is also being progressively removed throughout the month, while the Tower 4 lift is now operational and being used by the construction team.
In Tower 5, internal fit-out works continue across Levels 0 to 4, with services, tiling, flooring and joinery progressing at different stages. Services and fixtures are being fitted off on Level 0, while tiling has been completed on Level 1 and hybrid flooring installation is now underway. Joinery and tiling have commenced on Level 2, with tiling continuing on Level 3.
An important milestone has also been reached on Level 4, where plasterboard sheeting and window installation are now complete and plasterboard setting has commenced. Soffit sheeting is also continuing across the relevant external areas.
