Our co-located Pacific Golf Club named Queensland Golf Club of the Year!

Award a testament to the world-class refurbishment of the club as part of our $200 million retirement development

Fairway Carindale residents can now boast an award-winning golf club on their doorstep, after the iconic Pacific Golf Club was named Queensland Golf Club of the Year.

The recent QLD Golf Industry Awards Night win is a testament to our world-class refurbishment of the 60-year-old facility, as part of our $200 million retirement village development.

Reside Communities Co-Founder and CEO Glen Brown said the award was a huge coup for everyone involved.

“We’re thrilled to see Pacific Golf Club recognised as Golf Club of the Year,” he said.

“This award is not only a testament to the incredible transformation the club has undergone but also highlights the unique lifestyle on offer at Fairway Carindale.

“Fairway Carindale is designed to offer our residents the perfect blend of luxury, leisure, and community. The co-location with the award-winning Pacific Golf Club is just one example of how we are delivering on that vision.

“Our residents can now enjoy award-winning golf facilities right on their doorstep, making retirement here an unparalleled experience.”

Developed in close partnership with the Pacific Golf Club, the first stage of Fairway Carindale was unveiled in April.

It features 52 luxury apartments alongside a new restaurant, bar and café, virtual reality golf simulator,18-hole putt putt course and market-leading practice facilities.

The project also repurposes 1.5 hectares of the club’s open space while retaining its much-loved and tranquil bushland environment.

The QLD Golf Industry Awards Night on October 10, brought together the entire industry with the likes of the PGA, Golf Australia, Golf Management Australia and the Golf Course Superintendents Association of QLD, to recognise those who have excelled and honour the achievements of golf clubs, athletes, administrators, volunteers, and staff across the state.

Pacific Golf Club General Manager Amber Williams said joining forces with Reside Communities had been a huge success.

“This award really instils that it takes a village all working tirelessly together to create a world-class social hub for golf members, retirees and the broader community,” she said.

“We couldn’t have achieved what we have without the support of Reside. As far as this project is concerned, everyone is a winner.”

Fairway Carindale sets a new standard for retirement living with an emphasis on independence, health and wellbeing. Future stages will deliver a further 125 apartments and resident-exclusive amenities including a gym, indoor heated pool, external dining and entertainment areas, BBQ facilities, and recreational platform overlooking the golf course.

Anyone interested in taking an exclusive look at Fairway Carindale for themselves, can do so at our Open Viewing events running every Saturday throughout October.
